Dimanche is a Canadian short animation from Patrick Doyon centered around the day of a young boy and his self-entertainment while being around a group of only adults on a Sunday morning, afternoon and evening.
Dimanche leaves you wondering what is real and what is not, in the cartoon world. It is a fun little film, that needed a second watch before I really appreciated it.
If you wish, you can watch this film online, however, it will take a little work. The film is on YouTube, but blocked in the United States, since the Oscar nominated animated short films are currently showing in theaters and the distribution rights have been sold to a company for the viewing.
There is no dialogue in this film, so no translation is needed.
You can also purchase and download Dimanche/Sunday for about $1.95 for standard definition and $3.95 for HD.
